| Purpose: |
Technician – the role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner. Follow instructions, work with other department, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
Responsible to provide support for the production activities autoclave operation, garments washing and autoclave load preparations, Dispensing and Formulation, Aseptic Filling, Pen Assembly, Cartridge Washing and Depyrogenation activities in any of Julphar production facility, Pen/ Cartridge filling line for its routine manufacturing functions as per the cGMP norms.
Responsible for the Production activities in the respective suits of Recombinant Human Insulin plant and Small Scale Insulin Plant operations including but not limited to Operating equipment, running the production process, CIP and SIP of process equipment.

| Key responsibilities & Accountability: |
Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
Responsible to follow cGMP norms and the Standard Operating Procedures as defined.
Perform operations related to any assigned area as per the Production plan and as per the instruction of Shift-In-Charge.
Responsible to operate and clean the equipment, instrument or accessories used during the routine production activities as per the SOP.
Record the data of cleaning, operations and related works in the respective logs in a timely manner.
Responsible for the CIP and SIP of the production equipment.
Responsible of Production activities in the respective suits of Recombinant Human Insulin plant and Small Scale Insulin Plant operations.
Follow Data Integrity within work environment without fail as per the defined procedure.
Assist in other unit operations as and when required or as instructed by the section head.
Maintain hygiene & GMP standards in the area.
Perform operations according to the (MFM/MPI) under supervision of supervisor/line boss.
Clean area and equipment according to SOP.
Maintain all related logbooks and records.
Report any deviation to line Manager
Communicates machine problem with senior machine operator and work in co-ordination with maintenance department.

| Qualifications: |

- Education |
Higher Secondary certificate/Diploma in similar field.
|

- Experience: |
At least 2 - 4 years’ experience in the same filed.

- Training: |

| Key Competencies: |
Basic Command in English is mandatory & Arabic is a plus (communicating, writing and speaking).
Proven experience in Pharmaceutical industry, and product manufacturing.
Knowledge of Good Documentation and recording.
