Job Description:
Purpose: The Team Leader- HVAC will be responsible for managing and overseeing the HVAC operations in the pharmaceutical industry. This includes the maintenance, repair, and operation of HVAC equipment such as AHUs, BMS, chillers, LAF units, weighing booths, and other related equipment. The HVAC Section Head will also be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC activities are performed in accordance with cGMP requirements and that all equipment and materials used are compliant with relevant regulatory guidelines.
Key responsibilities & Accountability: • Manage and oversee the HVAC operations in a pharmaceutical industry, including the maintenance, repair, and operation of AHUs, BMS, chillers, LAF units, weighing booths, and other related equipment. • Manage and oversee the BMS system, with experience in establishing comprehensive daily, weekly & monthly trend reports. • Ensure that all HVAC activities are performed in accordance with cGMP requirements and that all equipment and materials used are compliant with relevant regulatory guidelines. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all HVAC equipment and systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation. • Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies. • Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance & Production to ensure that all HVAC activities are performed safely and effectively to support manufacturing activities. • Maintain accurate records of all HVAC activities, including maintenance, repair, and calibration activities, as well as environmental monitoring data. • Identify and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Participate in the qualification and validation of new HVAC equipment and processes related to pharmaceutical equipment. • Ensure that all HVAC activities are performed in compliance with safety procedures and regulations. • Manage and supervise HVAC technicians and other HVAC personnel.
 Qualifications: 
   - Education • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
   - Experience: • Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in HVAC operations in a pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on AHUs, BMS, chillers, LAF units, weighing booths, and other related equipment.
   - Training:
Key Competencies: • In terms of competency, you are High on Process Compliance, strong understanding, and practice of 'cost consciousness. • Good communication, interpersonal, collaboration, Problem Solving & implementation skills required. • Motivated, organized, Responsible in approach, high on Accountability & Ownership for self and team and overall compliance. • Must be able to manage tasks, plan personal workload effectively, priorities and easily adapt to changing situations. • Excellent team building, time & task management, Excellent Command in English  
Technical Competencies: In-depth knowledge of cGMP requirements related to HVAC activities, including qualification, validation, and maintenance. • Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Flexibility to respond to emergencies as needed. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records of all HVAC activities. • Prior experience in managing and supervising HVAC technicians and other HVAC personnel is preferred. • Experience of HVAC system in sterile areas is preferred.
