Job Description: |
Purpose: |
The Senior Technician- HVAC will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment in the pharmaceutical industry. This includes AHUs, BMS, chillers, LAF units, weighing booths, and other related equipment. The Senior Technician- HVAC will also be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC activities are performed in accordance with cGMP requirements and that all equipment and materials used are compliant with relevant regulatory guidelines. |
Key responsibilities & Accountability: |
• Provide technical expertise and support for the operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment in the pharmaceutical industry, including AHUs, BMS, chillers, LAF units, weighing booths, and other related equipment.
• Ensure that all HVAC activities are performed in accordance with cGMP requirements and that all equipment and materials used are compliant with relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities on all HVAC equipment and systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Identify and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in the qualification and validation of new HVAC equipment and processes related to pharmaceutical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all HVAC activities, including maintenance, repair, and calibration activities, as well as environmental monitoring data.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance and Production to ensure that all HVAC activities are performed safely and effectively to support manufacturing activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for all HVAC equipment and systems.
• Ensure that all HVAC activities are performed in compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Train and mentor other HVAC technicians and personnel.

Qualifications: |
|
- Education |
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, preferably in HVAC systems |
|
- Experience: |
• At least 2 - 4 years’ experience in HVAC operations in a pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on AHUs, BMS, chillers, LAF units, weighing booths, and other related equipment. |

- Training: |

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records of all HVAC activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Prior experience in training and mentoring HVAC technicians and personnel is preferred.
