Job Description:
Purpose: Planner – the role holder is responsible to collects, checks, analyzes, and evaluates the requirements from the Planner and allocates the required quantity into standard batches as per customer’s priority. The role responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status updates to management, and facilitating the timely delivery dates. You should also be able to closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities & Accountability: • Collects, analyzes, and evaluates product requirements and forecast from Sales to allocate in the monthly plan • Loads requirements to monthly plan according to priorities, delivery dates and based on the availability of Raw and Packaging materials • Follow up with packaging and production department to determine the short falls at the end of the month, and do the needed analysis. • Checks Production and Packaging plan for proper utilization of line and machine capacity as per priorities and delivery dates • Converts, creates, and releases Process Orders for Production and Packaging • Requests Sales to accept the available pack size or shelf life (if less than 2/3rd shelf life) to consume the available stocks • Requests Sales / Accounts to cancel old pending orders that cannot be manufactured or cannot be supplied due to any reason or to increase the order quantity if requires more orders to initiate a standard batch size • Arranges samples for stability, notification samples or promotional samples through Material Reservation or loading in the current batch. • Utilization of the available materials (current stock) before ordering the new material if there are any changes to reduce the material inventory if possible. • Responsible for the follow up with Supply Chain Team (purchase, store & clearance) for the timely delivery of materials required for monthly and weekly plan • Follow up with the QC department to release the required material through the month. • Requests material specification and BOM for new product, pack size and requesting BOM & MPI amendment from R & D department • Release at least the first week of the monthly plan before the plan starts. • Checking Monthly Pending Orders Analysis (Gaps) • Coordinating with sales operation department to determine the priority of each month • Follow up with other departments similar to RND, QA to provide the updated product MFM. • Perform any other task assigned by Team Leader / Manager and support colleagues whenever necessary.
   - Education • 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / any other related field.
   - Experience: • Must have at least 2-4 years’ experience in the Planning / Supply Chain/ logistics in similar industry / FMCG. • Good Command in both English & Arabic is a plus. • Good User in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, etc.).
